Sonoma County has changed the rules for group gatherings to cope with the persistence of the Omicron variant of COVID (https://socoemergency.org/order-of-the-health-officer-c19-35/).
With an abundance of caution, The Dance Center will be teaching classes on Zoom for the rest of this week and next, ending on Saturday, January 22. We intend to be back dancing in the studio starting Monday, January 24. Individual inks for Zoom class participation have been sent to each class. Check your email as well as your SPAM folder for dates times, links and pass codes for your class.
Helpful ZOOM Hints:
- Follow the link and have fun!
- Class etiquette:Remember, the teacher can still see you. Listening ears and calm bodies while they’re teaching. Just like you would in the studio!
- Adults! Parents! Join in classes with your child. It’s important everyone stay moving, plus, you’re in the comfort of your own home.
- If your video is glitchy, or the teacher keeps freezing, please remember that your in-home Wifi makes this streaming possible. It may mean you need to be closer to your internet router, or decrease streaming on other devices in your home. If glitches occur, stay connected and dance through it!
- Remember to mute your microphone once class starts!
